The Universidad Nacional de Rosario
was founded on November 29th, 1968 and its purpose was to develop, promote and
spread culture and science, directly in according to the nation’s needs. The
faculties that form part of it, were previously part of the Litoral
University, which
was founded in 1919.

National Technical University
The National
Worker’s University was founded in 1948, and eleven years later of
your
creation, in 1959, achieves autonomy and changes its designation to National Technological
University. During 1953, the current Regional Faculty of Rosario
of the National Technological University, was inaugurated. Its academic structure is
orientated towards engineering. Today it has 21 regional faculties and 8 academic units
distributed throughout the country. The province of Santa Fe has 3 regional faculties
located in Rosario, Rafaela and Santa Fe city, and 2 academic units located in Reconquista
and Venado Tuerto.
The Rosario Regional Faculty dictates 5 careers. They are:
- Information Systems Engineer
- Mechanical Engineer

Argentinean Catholic University
The Argentinean Catholic University was founded during 1959 in Buenos Aires. In Rosario, this university has three faculties:
- Engineering and Chemical Faculty
- Economical Science Faculty
- Law Faculty
The Engineering and Chemical Faculty initiates its activities during the year 1963, dictating Industrial Chemistry degree. In 1981, Industrial Engineering is introduced and a year later Computer Science is added. Last, in 1996, Environmental Engineering is incorporated.
Open Inter-American University
(UAI)
The Open Inter-American University
started in 1995. One of its headquarters is in Rosario were 3.495 students attend. Its
educative offer counts with 27 careers.

Southern University
The Southern University started its
activities in 1991, with the creation of Business Management Faculty in Rosario. In this
faculty, the careers of Business Management (since 1991) and Public Acount (since
2000), both have a duration of 5 years.
Besides the offer of careers, the faculty offers 1 master (Masters on Judicial
Advise for Corporations) and 3 pos-graduate programs (Agro-Business Management Program,
Management Program and Labor Relations Program).
Since 1997, the faculty has an institute for economical investigation.
